Reading Fairtrade Town

Reading as a Fairtrade Town

Both the Anglican and Catholic diocese covering Reading have Fairtrade status. The University of Reading is working hard to gain Fairtrade status and many schools have promoted Fairtrade tuckshops. For local educational materials to loan or buy visit RISC's Resources Page.

Over 42 cafes and restaurants now serve Fairtrade beverages or snacks, and 54 shops and supermarkets and mail order firms stock Fairtrade goods.
