Volunteers at RISC

Volunteer and work for a fairer world!
Volunteers are the "backbone" of the organisation and as such are highly valued. We have a core of up to 65 volunteers, from a variety of backgrounds carrying out all sorts of tasks within RISC.

Volunteers "come and go", but usually keep in touch, and quite often secure positions based on their work at RISC.

Since 2006 RISC has been holding Volunteer Group inductions every month making it easy to get involved and meet some of the other people helping out.

These regular group inductions are designed to attract and inform potential volunteers to work with us. Details here

Volunteer Vacancies

RISC is currently looking for volunteers to work in its Global Café, World Shop and Office. If you would like to be part of the RISC team, let us know.

CAFE: ----------------------------

Are you available for a couple of hours over the lunch-time period, able to work one weekday evening or alternate Saturdays.

SHOP: ----------------------------

Ideally 4 hours per week would be great, 9.30 - 1.30 or 1.30 - 5.30, Sat; 10 - 2 & 2 - 6.

OFFICE: --------------------------

Again, 4 hours would be ideal, regular office hours 9.30 - 1.30 or 1.30 5.30.
